Acquired

The First Impressions exhibition that we spent months organising happened last week and was a great success. We got such positive feedback on the whole show and everyone's work, it was really quite touching. I am posting a few individual images along with a photo of the series presented in the gallery. The series is titled Acquired. It is an ongoing project documenting the lifestyle of my dad who suffered a cardiac arrest in 2005 and has been living with an acquired brain injury since the accident. I wish I started this series earlier, but I hadn't considered the idea until earlier this year. I know however that even though I have started a little late, it's only just the beginning of what could very well be a very dense body of work.
